Co-Founder & Instructor
Five years a poledancer, four years a stripper, and 3 years teaching gave Kali her foundations.
Her professional background in Psychology, Therapeutic Programming, Trauma-Informed Care, and Addiction Treatment gave her the empathy, patience, and enthusiasm to teach and guide others.
She's also a Reiki Master Teacher, a Tarot Reader, and a Cat Snuggler.
Kali thinks of her classes with you as not just educational, fun, and physically challenging... but also therepeutic. She strives to have her students walk away feeling empowered and embodied. Pole dance is a modality that can be made accessible to so many people with so many different physiques. It develops a deeper connection between yourself and your body, if you let it.
For Kali it is a celebration of erotica and an act of defiance to the oppressive patriarchal system. It's about standing in front of the world (or the mirror) with your sacred sexual energy gloriously unbridled.
Our Mission
Sacred Serpent Studios is, first & foremost, a space where you can feel safe and supported in your Pole journey.

We are Sex Worker owned & operated, and we support all forms of SW and sexual expression.
Our goal is to bridge the growing gap in the Pole Industry between the Strippers who invented pole dancing and the Pole Fit community who popularized it. At the same time we seek to soften the taboos around human sexuality, in all its forms.

Willow Steele
Co-Founder & Instructor
Willow has been pole dancing for 5 years, stripping for 4, and exhibiting bad bitch energy for 24 years and counting.
A powerhouse of flexibility and strength, combined with a passion for watching her friends & students achieve. With her death drops, flexy inverts, and oozy floorwork - she brings energy and empathy into her classes. Her experience working in the mental health support system combines with her raw dancing talent to make Willow an empathetic and attentive teacher.
For Willow pole dance is a pathway to confidence, body automony, and self-love. She explores the the many ways gender non-comformaty can be expressed through pole, and believes sexual expression with pole dance can be found within all of them!​
Acknowledgements
We acknowledge that Black Strippers and Black Strip Clubs from cities like Altanta, New York, and Houtson in the 1980s & 1990s, are the pioneers of techniques and styles that has developed into modern Pole Dance.

We acknowledge that the land on which we gather is the ancestral homeland of the Beothuk and has long been a site of connection, stewardship, and culture for the Mi’kmaq, Innu, and Inuit peoples. We recognize the ongoing presence of Indigenous communities in Newfoundland and Labrador and commit to learning from and supporting their voices, rights, and sovereignty.

We acknowledge our pre-homo-sapien ancestors who first exchanged berries and nuts for sex. We also acknowledge our genetic cousins the Bonobos, for perfecting this tradition in peace and harmony.
